Harm Reduction center embraces an integrated system of care by recognizing each person has potential. Our facility promotes the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities using evidence-based practices. The treatment provided at the harm reduction center focuses on prevention in early intervention and supports lifelong learning to fulfill dreams and give hope for the future.
The harm reduction center is both state licensed through DCF and AHCA which allows us to treat those with substance use disorders as well as mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders. The Harm Reduction center’s treatment is unique in the way that our mental health program and substance abuse treatment programs are unique and separate. To ensure that we focus on each client’s needs we at harm reduction center believe that our mental health program and the substance use disorder program should be maintained as two separate programs. This will allow each client to obtain the maximum potential at recovery and help to lower recidivism rates.
Our values at the harm reduction center is to provide Person centered, personalized, strength-based services, in which we would treat all people with respect, fairness, dignity and equality. Our value also encourages resilience, support innovation and creativity as a learning organization, ensure seamless coordination of care, practice physical accountability, focus on service excellence, support teamwork and collaboration with then the organization between agencies and the communities we serve.
